Overnight stay
The hotel was used for an overnight stay whilst on route to Praha for the flight home. Room was in good condition and very large. Breakfast was also very good.

Unpleasant stay ! Very disappointed
Location convenient on the square. Service very cold / poor. No warm welcome at check in. Staff not helpful at all. Aircon not cooling enough. Room floor very creaky. If one person went to the toilet at night all woke up. Charged for 3 members but gave one tiny bottle of water. Small things that made the stay feel uncomfortable.

Perfect ... great hotel and wonderful staff
Lovely hotel, great location on the main square, and convenient for the old town. The staff were amazing - so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. My room overlooked the square, but the highlight was the rooftop car park, accessed by a car elevator! Amazing! Loved the hotel, and will definitely be back.

There was an old lady in reception when we arrived. Insisted in speaking German. I have been coming to Czech Republic for 16 years, I am well aware of Czech lack of "extra friendliness" in hospitality and services. But this is more to do with the old generation who have a lack of friendliness or are just stuck in Iron Curtain days of communist past. The old lady should stick to admin work. The 2nd day and as we checked out, there was a young and friendly girl. Much more friendly. We were a bit upset with the double bed which was requested when we booked. Not to get into details, but when you go to a hotel with your partner and the bed keep sliding in the intimate moments, it is annoying. Perhaps the old lady and the skinny black short haired woman working when we checked in, don't understand this situation. Please, double beds for couples, as it is supposed to be romantic, not holding 2 beds together. Thanks

they definitely need to change bed setting in room, i smashed my head twice in the morning on that curve. you can't even sit because you will that ceiling curve, asked receptionist if i can change and she just said no room ( Simply she wanted to say Get out no room)

Great Hotel In Town Square
The hotel is in the perfect place right in the stunning town square. Ceske Budejovice is a fantastic and beautiful place to visit with so much to see and do right on your door step. The sights are wonderful, you can take a trip down the river on one of the boat tours and if you like ice hockey or football both stadiums are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The bus and railway stations are also easily accessible by foot. We spent a week here and could easily have stayed for a fortnight there is that much to see and do around South Bohemia. It amazes me that this area is not really much of a tourist destination as it has so much beauty and wonderful sights to see. We are already planning to return next year and will defiantly be visiting Ceske Budejovice again.
