A poor experience
The hotel provides a function without providing any joy. Comfortable clean rooms but do not expect anything else. The breakfast provides the bare minimum. Coffee, toast, stale bread. That is it. Getting a drink at the bar in the evening requires you to chase staff down. No urgency, no sense of wanting to provide any sort of positive experience for guests. My other gripe which applies to 90% of hotels is that plugging any sort of electrical device in is a nightmare. When wii these hotels begin installing USB sockets and available electrical sockets? My other issue is with booking.com. There is little information about whether hotels wii be open late for check in.

Hotel was overall very nice, a very quiet area and services are limited i.e no concierge and food and drinks only available from 730pm until 10pm. But staff were lovely and very helpful.

The room was a bit too hot and the pillows a bit too soft, but overall the hotel was clean and the staff are always wonderful. The food from the restaurant was superb.

Never had the chance to stay there as the basement of the hotel was flooded due to bad weather, no electricity and no water supply. Were moved to another hotel, not as good as the AC Marriot where we have stopped before. Felt sorry for the lad on reception at the Marriott as at 2.30pm the rest of the reception staff were at lunch, knowing full well the problems they had

If you need Wifi-Do Not Stay Here!
Do not stay here! Their listing indicates that they have high speed internet but they do not - unless you are right next to the reception desk! We stayed here because they advertised their Hi Speed Internet - infact, we got premier access as we are Marriott Club members, but internet was - at - best - horrible in our room and we were on the second floor next to the elevators. Room was clean. Breakfast was alright. Location is about 2 .5 miles from the Leaning Tower. Supermarket nearby. So disappointed. I tried to get their staff to help me, over and over - ultimately with no assistance. I wrote to the manager via e-mail - and now 2-3 days later- I have yet to receive a response. Bottom Line - Way over priced! Virtually no customer service and ABSOLUTELY horrible internet (when you can get it) in your room. There are more convenient locations at far lower prices that you can book in PISA.

Nice hotel, but a bit neglected
It is a Marriott, and as such we expect a level of service and comfort, and the hotel, for the most part, delivers. There are a few issues, though: The room we were in showed signs of neglect: Paint was peeling off, the wood floor was coming off, there was constant drops of water from the A/C vent by the door, etc. Also, we were surprised to receive a bill for breakfast! As most people who have traveled in Italy know, breakfast is free and standard in 99% of Italian hotel. If not, it's price is mentioned at the time you check in. We were asked our room number when we sat down to breakfast, and later were surprised with the bill. And I must say, I had one of the "worst" cappuccinos in that breakfast I have ever tasted anywhere, least of all in Italy. I had to send my cappuccino back two times! I guess they just expect their guests to be "foreigners" who know nothing of the Italian food culture. Disappointing. However, because there is lack of anything else in the area, and because of the fact that we can park our car right by the hotel, we will probably be back, but not enthusiastically.

False Hopes of a Hotel Room
This hotel looks excellent on the internet as it is advertised to be greater than it actually is. For the most part, I think hotels.com should not allow this practice as it is not right to sell rooms to customers due to the assistance of false advertisement. The hotel itself had quite a few major flaws which I would like to point out. First, it is very far from the city center which is very inconvenient and results in a 40 euro taxi fare round trip. Second, the room is a bit dirty and beat up as the furniture is heavily stained, and the bedding is overused. Also, the bathroom had nasty mold stains in the calking towards the edging of the tiles. I can only say that the free breakfast buffet was decent.
