The hotel was lovely, slightly dated, but very clean with kettle and coffee pod machine in the room. Very modern toilet and shower. Towels were white, fluffy and soft. The bed was so comfortable. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. However, I would reserve the dining area in the evening as it was busy with a 30 minute wait for a table. I would definitely recommend the hotel

The hotel is the PERFECT spot for visiting Pitlochry (esp by train) The back of the property is adjacent to the train station. Just get off the train, walk down the paved walkway to the hotel. We were greeted with a free taste of whisky or gin. After getting settled in, when you exit the front door, you are on the main street of shops and eateries. The hotel is historic, has been carefully renovated and maintained. It’s very charming. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nespresso machine and cookies etc in the room, Fan, blow dryer, ironing board, all toiletries, plenty of towels etc in room. There is a restaurant there for breakfast and dinner. Loved our stay!

Staff were excellent . Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. In room 109 the shower room is needing attention. Cracked tiles and door needing replaced as looks very grubby. The actual shower was difficult to manoeuvre and stay in position.
