Great hotel in the town centre. The room was warm and the bed was very comfy. I parked outside the hotel as i had a van. All in it was a very enjoyable stay and i would return again when in the area.

Clean and tidy
Nice hotel, decor slightly dated but very clean, and lovely owner who was very helpful and welcoming. I didn’t eat here at night but breakfast was excellent with good hot and cold choices. My stay was slightly marred by my extremely noisy neighbour - unfortunately the walls are very thin, and he made a lot of noise all night meaning I didn’t sleep well. However, not the fault of the hotel

The staff was wonderful. The hotel was built in the 1600s, so very rich in history but lacking in modern conveniences. Not accessible for people with mobility issues as there is no lift to the second floor where the guest rooms are located. The food service was good.

Not worth the money
I found the hotel old and outdated The room is basic and the shower didnt work I found long black hairs in the bathroon and the bedroom carpet was covered in stains. The curtains didnt close properly and had briken hooks The wardrobe looked like it could fall forwards at any point I informed reception that i would be leaving on the sunday not the monday as planned but because it was pre booked i had to pay full price

The best place to stay in Lockerbie in my opinion. Central, good team there, garaged parking for my motorcycle, great food, amazing breakfast and super comfy bed.
