8/10 Very good

The hotel is very well located in front of the beach, the room was clean and spacious and had great a/c. The breakfast was quite good and they had some dairy free alternatives and the staff was really kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend if you’re going to Weymouth.

We had a fantastic stay at Chapter One and would definitely return. Steve gave us such a warm welcome, personally showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. He was friendly, helpful and full of useful local knowledge, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was a real highlight — everything was fresh, the coffee was excellent and we were really well looked after. It’s a lovely hotel with a genuinely welcoming, relaxed feel. We’d happily recommend Chapter One and will definitely stay again when we’re back in Weymouth.

Although I had booked a single room with no view I still felt that I had stayed somewhere luxurious. The bed and the bathroom were lovely and the host very helpful and friendly. Very convenient location just on the seafront. The breakfast was perfect.

Lovely place to stay. Great ambiance especially in the “Paris Library” (eating and resting area)-lovely to walk into in the evening with the candles dimly lighting the area. Very welcoming. Breakfast was great with good coffee and service from the attentive staff. Room was clean with a great sized bathroom- all newly refurbished. Most importantly for me a very comfortable bed, leading to a great nights sleep. Details to decor very quirky. Thanks to the “Narrator” Must place to stay. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay. We booked a sea view room, the view was superb. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The service we received from Steve (the hotel manager/owner) was fantastic. He made sure we were well catered for at breakfast as vegans. This was the best hotel we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in!! Steve the proprietor was the quintessential host! Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were quaint, clean and had everything you need! Steve checked with us daily to assure that we had all we needed. He let us use his washer and dryer which was greatly appreciated. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling through Weymouth! It’s a gem!! Thank you Steve!! The Franklins

The perfect location, with the perfect host!

Steve, the Narrator, is a perfect host. His level of service is unmatched, and his attention to detail made our stay perfect. The location, on the beach, is spot on as a starting point for exploring all Weymouth has to offer.

Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place.

A Perfect Place!

This hotel is our new favorite hotel in Weymouth ...and beyond! The place is smart and spotless and the owner, Steve, was the most convivial of hosts. The room was so very comfortable and pristine and we couldn't have been happier with any of it. Highly recommended!

Our host Steve was superb, nothing is too much trouble for him. If you want an elegant, stylish place to stay, you’ve found the right spot. I am extremely fussy and I couldn’t find any faults.
