A box of matches
After a misunderstanding with Ignacio, the receptionist, who has a couple of balls and is very passionate, the initial issue was fixed. However, the hotel feels very claustrophobic and I would not come back

Great location, small room.
Good short stay. We stayed in a family room for one night, then moved to a small double room. The family room was too small for 4 adults. Might be ok with children, but it really was too small for 4 adults. It served it's purpose for one night and the beds were comfortable. The double room was comfortable and clean. It was also not a great design to have a glass door for the bathroom (not clear but allowing light through) and not completely sealed when closed. It may be awkward if staying with friends. Also, water seemed to spray out of the shower and drainage was slow. Otherwise, very central location, easy to walk to most sights. Buffet breakfast was included for us and was ok, but probably not worth paying for. Good value for Madrid as many places were a bit more expensive (for when we were there).
