Staff were excellent, but the experience was badly let down by the condition of the room which was in dire need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was poor with a toaster which took an age to lightly brown the bread, croissants which were clearly not fresh and bananas which were rotten throughout. Such a shame, because it's location was excellent. We definitely expected better.

The “English Breakfast” was also cold and in fact a Continental Breakfast would have been a better description. That said, the room rate was extremely reasonable and the staff were excellent - providing both recommendations for dinner on the evening of arrival and then at breakfast, providing an itinerary of recommended stops for our journey up to Fort William.

Friendly staff and good room for people with mobility issues. The cooked breakfast was really good. I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning.
