Up graded to a lodge,lovely rooms cosy and comfy,private and quiet. Bar was adequate as was the food. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The hotel setting was beautiful and within walking distance of the shopping centre. Would recommend for a short stay

Good location with and spa. Room OK with nice views over garden and hills. Bath could do with à little regrouting, if I am been critical. Also would have been nice to be notified by Expedia there is a £10 charge for parking, prior to making the booking, not after! Not charged if booking direct with Hotel. That said, excelent staff and will stay again.

This is a very nice stay in the heart of grasmere Small but nice spa Food quality was excellent Was able to charge my car Gardens were very nice It would be great to have better fans or air con in the rooms. Also to expand the spa in future years.

Perfectly placed in a quiet spot on the edge of Grasmere with stunning views. Lots of walks from the doorsteps of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, took our luggage, took an interest into our stay, couldn’t fault the service. Breakfast set up was good with a range of cooked options included in the breakfast price. Had one meal at the restaurant, nice setting and atmosphere, professional service, food was decent slightly underwhelming however given the reputation of the restaurant. Spa was small but rarely busy, great for relaxing in after a day out walking. Room was a little tired, in need of renovation, but a good size and very comfortable. Smart TV was a big plus. Separate bath with its own tv felt luxurious. Overall a lovely stay

We have absolutely loved our stay. The area is beautiful, the hotel is quiet, pretty and boasts amazing views of the area from all Points of the hotel. Dinner was worth having here as the food is great. We’ve loved everything about this place. We didn’t get time to use the spa but it looked lovely Would highly recommend
