There were two main issues with my stay at the Red Lion Inn this time: 1) the wifi was generally very slow and sometimes stopped completely. This was a major issue when I needed to stay connected for business needs and meetings; 2) the housekeeping did not complete their work on several occasions- this was the ONLY hotel that I had seen this happen, when housekeeping changes out just one towel, and ignored the rest of the cleaning duties, including making the bed, wiping the bathroom, etc. Very weird. Not at all professional.

Nice stay close to 2 subway stations
Decent hotel for a short stay. Close to two subway stations to take the N,W, or 7 lines at Queensboro Plaza and the F line at 21 St Queensbridge Station. The F subway can take us to Roosevelt Island.

Good stay
Staff was great and house cleaning turned my room over each day which was nice. I was able to store my luggage until check in on my first day and again after checking out. They offer free coffee/tea on the second level. The hotel itself is old and could use updating. There were weird water marks on my ceiling and my desk chair was broken. Other than that I would stay here again but only for short trips.

Affordable and SUPER close to the subway! Took 18mins on the subway to Times Square! Very clean and front desk staff were pleasant and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend staying here but do bring earplugs or something as there is quite a bit of noise from the street, as is to be expected so close to the subway!
