Was told 2 hours before our check in that the restaurant was fully booked for dinner yet when we walked past the restaurant coming back from the spa there were plenty of tables to eat at. We asked reception could they contact us if there was any cancelations but there was no contact. We then had to get a taxi to take us to the nearest restaurant which then added another unnecessary expense because the hotel has a deal and set rates with their taxi company. We were told also that for breakfast we would have to have it ina different part of the hotel as that was fully booked yet when we went up to the restaurant they took us in there for breakfast anyway. There were no dressing gowns in our rooms and had it not been for the couple, who gave us ours down at the spa as they were disappointed with the spa service, then only one of us would have got a dressing gown as when I asked I was informed there was only one left. The lockers at the spa had peoples clothes stored in the ones were there were keys meaning I could not get a locker with a key as these people had used them without paying, meaning I had to go up to the room to get changed to then head back down to the spa. Was very surprised by service considering the cost of the stay.

Gorgeous hotel with great facilities, staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely but the restaurant was cold the night we went and we left after dinner, not having our dessert. The staff kindly offered the dessert for room service with no extra charge. No wifi signal in the room even with the private wifi code so would mabye ask for a different room in the hotel the next time. Would defo stay again.
