Traditional hotel in an idyllic setting. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was fine for the price we paid, clean and spacious. Only gripe was the temperature in the room, made it quite hard to sleep and didn't want to open the windows in case the midgies got in!

My mother and I simply chose the hotel due to price as we were visiting family in the area. Our expectations were not high due to low cost. We were very surprised. Yes you do have to manage expectation when staying here is sje is an old type hotel. Would we go again? Absolutely. Service, great, rooms and hotel spotless. Staff friendly, breakfast buffet style scottish breakfast with some continental. Looking fwd to our next visit.

Hotel should employ a maintenance person. A few minor issues (shower connection broken in my case). Heard a few guest asks for small issues with their rooms to be fixed. This could be the difference between a good stay and a great stay. Restaurant staff were helpful and our meal was the best I have had in years. Absolutely first class food prep.

This is a good hotel for a stay in speyside. it is a good size with comfortable rooms with a good bathroom . The food in the restaurant was good and well cooked. My only real criticism is that I was disappointed there were no Scottish ales in the bar. There are plenty of good breweries in Scotland and it would be nice to see Scottish beers in the bar even if they were in bottles.

Room was very clean. Needed refurbished. Shower was a trickle and difficult to get the right temperature. Only one window in the room opened. No fan in bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Lovely places to eat nearby. (We did not eat in hotel) Ben Mhor hotel, Grant arms, The Wee Puffin and The Garth Hotel. Parking was interesting with no real car park but wasn't too busy so managed to find a space.
