The rooms are tired and need an upgrade. Beds were flat and hard. Bathroom showers are tiny and a large person would have difficulty fitting in them. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and the room cleanliness is quite good. Hotel is located in a residential area, so plenty of restaurants and transportation into the old city is convenient.

I stayed at the Grand Park hotel and it was perfect! Very close to the promenade with tons of restaurant options nearby… felt very safe as a solo traveler in this area. It’s a long walk… but a very safe walk all the way to old town if you’d like… but you can also take a taxi/Uber for relatively cheap. You are then outside of all the hustle and bustle of old town. Everyone was very kind and the sea view rooms have incredible views!

Lovely hotel
There was a lot of construction work going on around the hotel which was abit unsightly, but when it’s finished I’m sure it will be lovely. The gym equipment was a little old and could definitely do with a revamp. There was no food or drink available around the pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was centrally located near sunset beach and had plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Only a 10 taxi to the old town. Quiet at night which was good.

This property is great value and I highly recommend it. The ocean views were breathtaking. The pool areas (both indoor and outdoor) were a relaxing oasis. My room was spacious and well appointed. There was a minor problem with my shower not draining properly. There was construction taking place on the property so there was some noise but it looks like there will be a lovely new pool area once completed. Fantastic stay and I will be back!
