Lovely location in Westlake. There are gardens to walk through in the grounds. The staff were superb.
Plenty of veneer, little substance. This is a top of the line Four Seasons Hotel however, during a six week total stay, many issues became apparent and not what you would expect from a top of the line hotel such as this. 1. After 24 hours of travelling, our room was not ready by the 3pm check-in time which led to a spend at the onsite coffee shop, looking and feeling extremely tired after a long trip. 2. Lack of consistency in the shower water temperature. Did not have one shower in the whole stay where the water stayed in or around the same temperature the whole stay. Again, not what you would expect at this level of quality. 3. During the first four weeks, the car park barriers were continually open. One day, upon exiting, the barriers were closed. A buzz through to the conceirge fixed this but we were told that our room keys must be replaced for the "new ones". While not a major drama, at this level you would have expected a note from the hotel before leaving the room to let us know our key card required an exchange. 4. Multiple mini bar charges for items not taken. Including beer and Red Bull. Neither of us drink alcohol or caffeine. 5. Turn downs. Sometimes at 5pm sometimes at gone 9pm. Crazy in any hotel. 6. During the six weeks, the bath robes were not changed once during the stay. To sum up, whilst no means did we feel like we where "slumming it", for the level this hotel places it at, you would expect a much better quality of stay.
Superb stay. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Service was beyond excellent
Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff! The garden with an original Chinese pagoda is breathtaking! Coin and Candor also serves excellent, excellent dishes!
Excellent service, clean and safe for my family with the app you can manage all your requests contact less with new regulations. All staff is polite, friendly and know you by your name.
First hotel stay since the pandemic and we could not have been in better hands. Touch less service did not feel impersonal, rather like every detail had been thought of so you could relax.
The renovated room is excellent. Bedding is outstanding. Very clean and high end.
Spa gym restaurants fresh flowers in the lobby well staffed very difficult to find negatives As it is a Four Seasons guests should be prepared to pay for services. Room service has fees plus 19 percent gratuity. Items are priced in the 17 dollar plus range. Hotel offers free bottles of water in room and from valet and most places you go in hotel. In keeping with their image this is another example of Four Season hospitality
I love the friendly service. The baked goods are great at the lobby restaurants.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also amazing
