Great place to stay with a pool and gym facilities
great for the price. Loved the fact breakfast was included. Nice to have use of the pool and gym. handy that we could park the car for free, then get the bus into Manchester for £1. Room was smaller than I thought, but comfy bed and clean bathroom etc.

Not bad, but not good.
A weird hotel, that's not really a hotel. It's more like a gym, that has a bar and a few rooms. Flies all over the bar ceiling, breakfast restaurant was cold and unlit. Bathroom was a wet room but the shower could only be angled so you had to almost sit on the sink opposite to get washed, and because it was so small, water ended up out in the room. The room was very clean and perfectly ok for a good nights sleep. All just a bit odd really.

Good for a short break
We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good, although I question the idea of buffet service on Sundays - the waitress service on Saturday was far more efficient and there was a lot of waiting for empty serving dishes to be refilled at the buffet counter on the Sunday. The bedroom we were in was modern and clean, and the bed was comfy. However the room was very small, more suited to single rather than double use I would have said, and I would recommend visitors to ask what size of room they will be allocated before booking. One big advantage was being able to make use of the swimming pool and spa, which we enjoyed very much. The approach to the hotel is very confusing, as you see the back of the hotel first. We arrived at night after a long journey and saw signs for training courses on the building and thought we had got the wrong place. Clearer signposting would help.
