Truly the best ... showing the true spirit of NO!
The building is amazing and represents the true spirit of New Orleans! Room 1 is outstanding and should not be passed up! Very happy with our stay and now have a new "go-to" when i have to travel to new orleans for business. in my opinion, there is no better establishment!

Horrible Place.
Got a good rate. $90 for $150 ram. I would've been very upset if I paid $150 for this room. It was terrible. No hot water. Mildew caulking in the shower. Shower head stuck in a position that only a 6 foot five person could reach. Paperthin walls I awoke to hearing the people in a Nother room speaking clearly. Which means I have no privacy the night before. Lighting was horrible. Maybe one 40 W bulb in the two fixtures in the place. Could not see anything. The kitchenette had not one cup, plate, fork, nothing. No ice. No ice trays. No icemaker in the place at all. No water bottles left. Which we did not realize until we returned back from our outing. I called after we return that home owner was rude and told me that everything that I said was not true. Then continued to text me about how everyone who left the place. I believe they are paying people to give good reviews if they are getting good reviews. Do not ever stay at this place. Not a guest house.

Awesome!
I cannot say enough wonderful things! Zak, Michelle, Gabriel were amazing! We arrived at 8am (check in was at 3) they stored our luggage for us while we walked around town and then had our room ready by 1130. The next day, checkout was at 11am but our flight back home was not until 6pm. They stored our luggage again so we could enjoy the French quarter. Hospitality was amazing! Room was clean! If we visit New Orleans again, we will definitely stay here!

Left a lil hangry!
We weren't looking for much. Just what we searched Hotels.com's filters for. One of which was a basic bite in the morning. The BnB's own website said Bfast would be served in the dining room of the attached restaurant "Silkroad". waited till 9am ( also per the BnB's website ). The place was locked up tight at 9:10am. We just checked out and went about our way.

Very good 8.0
Check in was easy, breakfast was plentiful and it was a nice quiet place to stay for the weekend. Great location and walking distance from everything. A few things that could be better: room didn't quite seem ready for guests (#13), it needed the tv hung, outlet in bedroom didn't work, no ironing board, and needs more towels (had one per person). Also had a full kitchen, I expected it to have plates, dishes, etc. They also wanted my credit card info via text message and never introduced who they were, so I thought I was about to get scammed. Turned out fine and I would stay again.

Nice out of the way guesthouse
I enjoyed staying in the Balcony Guest House. Each room is different and all have their own style. The beds were really comfortable, and it is always nice to have a fridge and microwave. There is a breakfast room where you can help yourself in the mornings, and the people who work there are extremely friendly. It was nice to stay somewhere different. This is an excellent value for money.

Cozy
Service was amazing. The gentleman that showed us around was the best! Nice atmosphere. Cozy little place. Breakfast area was cute with a nice selection. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but other than that , I thoroughly enjoyed it!
