About The Grand at Trafalgar Square

Centrally located, upscale heritage hotel with modern rooms

Central, central, central

City life on the doorstep
Here in the heart of the city, there are a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, shops, entertainment, and sights for you to choose from. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Covent Garden, with its street artists and covered markets.

Heritage hotel
Set in historical Northumberland House, the Grand has a restaurant, a free fitness center, free WiFi throughout, and enthusiastic concierges to help you plan your stay. There's a business center, as well as 8 meeting rooms.

High ceilings
Many guestrooms have high ceilings and historical features but have been updated with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs, cordless phones, ergonomic work stations, and water boilers for tea and coffee. Room service is available (limited hours). There's complimentary bottled water, too.

The Grand at Trafalgar Square
Good location, but that’s all. Four star, really?
Basement room under kitchen, smelling of food and minimal natural light. Add to that room not made up made for a poor experience. Not to be repeated.

I just don't get this new thing with Hotels of this standard where guests cannot get a drink after 11.00pm and there is no room service available for food or drinks at this time, Ridiculous

The Grand at Trafalgar Square
Not ideal but ok for an overnight stay
Room 101 was in the basement but without any explanation I assumed I’d be going up to the 1st floor. Whilst the room was large enough it was pretty tired and next to what seemed to be a main thoroughfare for staff. Also there was only one lift working so getting back to the lobby took ages and the stairs were a mystery I’m still yet to find.
