Very disappointing experience
This was our second stay in this hotel. Our previous stay was long time ago before the extension and was an absolutely brilliant experience. Then, it was an upmarket boutique hotel. Our experience this time was total opposite. The standard of the hotel is no more than a budget hotel chain. -The Reception staff lacked Scottish hospitality and warmth -Basic amenities missing in the room. Must collect toiletries from reception, Their excuse was eliminating single use plastic. Same single use plastic provided by reception. -No water in the room. -We travelled as a family, with our children. Their room was provided with bathrobe and slippers and ours was not. When requested we were told that it would cost £3 per slipper. We paid just shy of £700, for an allegedly 4* hotel and this guy was asking £3 for slippers. -Air conditioning is so loud, we had to switch off to be able to sleep. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Very kind.
We had a fantastic stay. The staff were caring and very kind. I had a bad fall outside the hotel and the kindness continued. Thank you especially to Panos in the restaurant and bar. He seemed to be with us constantly and was so very kind. Monica was amazing in the restaurant and Kris was extremely kind as we needed to check out early because of my fall.
