Poor 2.0
No shuttle bus service, dodgy area.
Was very basic hotel which is what you expect from the travel lodge however the description is very misleading says it’s an airport hotel however there is no shuttle bus to the hotel so had to get a taxi which was around 18€, to then be told not to leave the hotel in the evening as it’s a bit dodgy not very comforting for someone travelling alone for work.

Poor 2.0
Awful
Terrible place. After a long drive we were looking forward to a sit down meal and a glass of wine only to find the restaurant and bar shut. This was 8pm on a Saturday night. The receptionist (with her cigarettes sitting out) told us about take away we could walk to. So we did, only to be approached by beggars or simaler not once but 3 times. Felt very unsafe. Did not sleep a wink as it was so warm, no air con and loud music being played across the forecourt. Next morning, we discovered the shower had mould. We get in the lift to be greeted with an overwhelming smell of marijuana which lead down to the carpark! The automatic gate wouldnt open for me to drive out, so had to run back to tell reception. Wouldn't be surprised if the staff knew all about the weed while drinking their energy drinks on the sofa..... So a staff member opens the gate, only for it to just miss banging into my car!!! Could not wait to get out of the place!

Business trip to Dublin
Perfect for my trip as it was just an overnight stay. Staff were excellent. Local area not that great. I recommend the Autobahn. Good food, great service. Watch out for the taxi taking you to the Travelodge North even though you have told them South. It’s a shorter distance meaning they get back on the rank quicker. Apparently it happens at least once a day. Praise to the staff in Travelodge North who gave me a coffee and organised another taxi.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was tidy, although the sockets seemed to be neither Euro or British, they looked like Indian sockets... The area was not ideal, but there were frequent busses to the city centre, 3 routes, 1 bus every 5 mins. the 787/767 bus to the hotel (it was one or the other i cant remember which) from the airport DOES NOT EXIST. the Taxi cost 15EURO. The room was smaller than other hotels of a similar prestige, and the "king bed" was smaller, more of a large single. The view from the 4th floor was very nice of fields, and a small green outside, however the locals in this area were not so nice, other than the hotel staff, cant fault them they were super friendly and brilliant all round.

Room is very comfortable but heater was noisy. Hostess was very patient, helpful and nicely.
