it was a huge old hotel. the common areas were very spacious. the hotel is nicely located, and you can walk to the historic center. there is also a nearby park that is popular with lots of birds.

We had a quiet & comfortable stay at this hotel linked to conference centre, near to the Crystal Palace park / hospital neighbourhood. The reception were very helpful with parking advice and took time to explain all facilities ( good English spoken) We enjoyed the inclusive breakfast buffet on the top floor dining room with a great view on the bridge . A 5 min walk downhill took us to a selection of hotel bars, cafes and restaurants on the riverside (‘Soul Sense’ was our fave cool spot for eats & drinks)

Room ok, but no tea/coffee facilities. However it was cleaned and reset daily. Bathroom excellent. Breakfast decent, with a good selection. Excellent viewpoint. There is a bar, but no preson to serve in it. You have to get someone from reception. If they are busy, then forget it. Outside sitting area of bar area decrepit. Overall, it feels like the hotel's best days are long gone apart from the bathroom which clearly has been recently refurbished. Reception, Breakfast and cleaning staff all very friendly. Very little in the way of restaurants in the vicinity. About 25 minutes walk to the Clerigos Tower, and bus stops within five minutes.
