We stayed 3 nights in the Renaissance Providence and the hotel is well situated to use as a base for touring round Rhode Island. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful with the quality of the rooms being a very high standard and large compared to other hotels we have stayed in.

A disappointing miscommunication
The hotel was lovely and very clean. The only problem I had was when it came to asking for a late check out. I called the hotel a week in advanced. First, they told me to “ask during check in about checking out later than 11am”. Which was fine. I asked when we arrived at the hotel the women told me I could check out at 3pm since we checked in at 9pm the night prior. The women told us to head down to the lobby and refresh the keys the day of. I sent my boyfriend down to do as instructed and they told him he could not stay any later than 1pm. This made me very disappointed because I tried to avoid this kind of confusion beforehand.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean...valet services are fast and efficient. Anna at the front desk, when i was checking, was very nice and accommodating. Very friendly staff and would definitely stay here again. Right across the capital building, which was a nice view, and bigger rook than i expected. Only a 14 minute walk to downtown.

This stay was amazing! The staff did everything out of their way to make our experience magical! When we told them we were celebrating our honey moon we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a beautiful view of the state house and greeted by a bottle of champagne inside the room. Thanks for everything!
