Room was clean basically. Just a old place. Could use a remodel at the prices they charge. The front desk guy was rude and obnoxious. Seemed aggravated. Checking in he had issues with the reservation so he got upset argumentative said I only reserved 1 night I explained it was 3 total one and then two as the app wasn't working.

This is a Motel, not a Hotel, and It is farther from the center of town than I expected, but that's on me for not doing my homework. It is comfortable and clean, and on various public transportation lines. Also a walking distance from Cafes and restaurants in Anderson I'll. The breakfast was bad, and I suggest that you bring something for breakfast, or eat out, rather than "enjoy" the 3 dry cereal selection that they offer (and some pouches of instant oatmeal. Location is perfect! You're within a 0.3 mile walk to the green line, 0.8 mile walk to the red line, Whole Foods, and great restaurants! Love the included parking and wifi, a huge value. We were warmly greeted during check-in and the staff was very kind. The place is very clean, everywhere! As many have said the motel is dated, but you really can't beat the value - good temperature control, hot water, clean linens, and great TV selection. My only complaint is the beds - they are horrible! A step above a cot on some old springs... an air mattress probably would've been better.
