Pleasant stay in a decent location.
It was a good stay in the hotel. The best thing about the stay is, it is very close to Monastiraki station which makes our life easy and helps us to stay away from the pickpocketers and dodgy stuff. And it is also not too far from Plaka Market, Acropolis, Olympian Zeus. The evening bar on the rooftop with the Acropolis view was lovely.

Hidden Treasure
Athens itself was too busy for us but the Attals Hotel is a hidden treasure. Staff are extremely helpful and we will definitely stay here again in October when we return

Attalos Hotel
Perfect spot in old Athens
Perfect location - just a few paces from Monastiraki Square and close to the nightlife in Psiri and all the ancient sights and museums. Our room was generous with a newly refurbished bathroom, a large balcony with a view of the acropolis. The roof bar is great with direct view of the acropolis and can be used by guests all day too, although the bar doesn't open until 4.30pm. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Fantastic hotel, amazing views, brill roof bar
we stayed at this hotel on the first and last let of the journey and loved it. It is only 5 mins away from the metro which takes you to/from the airport for 10 euros each of 18 euros a couples and also takes you direct to the port. The hotel is located within walking distance of all the attractions and the roof bar has an absolutely amazing view of the Parthenon. There are plenty of restaurants and bars just round the corner and we enjoyed some lovely local food at Taverna tou Psirri, cakes and icecream oppostie and breakfast at the Jazz cafe bar. The staff in the hotel where very helpful, the room was very nice with complimentary toiletries and fridge, although would have benefited from a kettle. We had balcony with views over athinas street which is one of the key areas and sells everything from duct tape to antique glass light shades We ate breakfast at the hotel but it was quite basis but we had some lovely cocktails on the roofbar in the rain and excessive heat. The only down side to the hotel is that it would have been nice to spend more time on the roof bar if it had served food (only one snack - ham and cheese toastie) and if it had been open longer as it doesn't open until late afternoon until 12md Would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Athens but would suggest you keep an eye on the prices as we payed considerably less pn when weekend than we did the next via
