Good times. Super easy to check in. We got forms to fill out for what breakfast items we wanted delivered to our room, and it was right on time the next morning! Didn’t check out the pool at all but the room was clean. No complaints

McCall (and valley county) has a mask wearing ordinance in place requiring them to be worn in public. Zero employees wore masks even as an ad talking of COVID safety produced by best western played on a TV on the lobby. Their pool/hot tub areas were open and busy - unlike any hotel I’ve been in there this year because exactly no one wears a mask in these areas. My complaint is less about my personal safety as I am not that worried about surviving COVID but I would expect businesses to FOLLOW THEIR LOCAL LAWS and demonstrate leadership in this kind of time. If they aren’t following these laws which are pretty well known by the public, are they also thumbing their nose at other regulations meant to ensure cleanliness of rooms, safety in food preparation, etc? I would like to think so but when you are either this lazy or just think you’re above this situation because of your personal beliefs it’s kind of hard to believe you wouldn’t take this stance other places you could cut corners. By the way: I don’t think this is he fault of the rank and file employees who were extremely nice I think this is reflective of the management and or owners. By the way both rooms we occupied had problems: one the bathroom fan didn’t work and the other the temperature control wasn’t working properly making sleep difficult.

When I went to check-in I had to wait about 20 minutes before somebody finally got to the front desk I also went to use the bathroom the following morning there was no toilet paper had to go clear downstairs to use the bathroom, also I filled out the breakfast sheet and I never received my breakfast

Very dog friendly with a reasonable pet fee. Nice pool area and workout area (closed for COVID). Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are rather basic but ours was in very nice condition. The altered-due-to-COVID breakfast was still a pleasant surprise.
