The location of the place was great! The bed was old and we needed mkre pillows. One of the elevators wasn't working and the other one was out for a day too. Had to take tbe stairs the whole trip.

We checked in for a four night stay paid in full at the time of check in. After checking out a “hold “ was placed on my account for several hundred dollars no one that we got to speak with could tell us why it was there. The room was below average there was sand everywhere in the floor a large gash through the paint on the ceiling. The shower wasn’t completely cleaned from the previous tenant. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything coming from the surrounding rooms. The room itself was not what was advertised on the booking photos. The bed reminded me of a cheap couch pullout bed and squeaked with every little move. Overall the resort was not worth a fraction of what was paid to them. Don’t waste your money and go with some other place

Not much to brag about.
We called on two occasions prior to the stay to update ourselves on the status of the renovations and were assured there were no issues and they were completed. This was not the case. Elevator not working. Construction equipment blocking entrance/access. Construction materials/supplies in the open. Mold throughout the ceiling in the shower area of room 211. Rain entered through the doorway, granted it was a downpour. Room was damp all the time. Refrigerator sounded like a truck and had to be unplugged at night in order to sleep.TV and bed were fine.

Motel not a hotel
Hotel was more of a motel and not a resort. Pictures were misleading and the room wasn’t clean. We did request a refund and was granted a refund.

Not as expected
Was not anything as expected. The photos on hotels.com website AND the actual hotels website are very very outdated. Not even close to what it looks like today. In fact, when my husband turned in, I told him that he went to the wrong location. If I hadn’t been out of my cancellation window, I probably would have cancelled. Plus side is, it was right across the street from the beach.

Happy Family
We had a great experience. Close to the beach and a very good coffee spot. Keep in mind what you are paying when leaving a review. The front desk laddies were very nice. I’d definitely go back again. We stayed in a room with 3 beds and used the middle bed for our suitcases. Full size refrigerator! The negative: clean the elevator and stairwell daily, it would look much better.

Don’t book based on the pictures.
My main complaint is that the pictures listed for the property are nothing like the actual place. Should be updated because they are very deceiving. Rooms were nice and clean but outside and lobby is nothing like the pictures.

Canceled reservation w/o notice.
I had a three bed room booked from March 20-23. When I arrived at the hotel to check in at 7pm, local time (well between my 4pm-midnight check in time), I discovered that the hotel cancelled my booking and gave my room away. It was spring break and all of Gulf Shores was completely booked. They used the excuse that they tried to run my credit card prior to my arrival, although I had selected to pay at the hotel, and that my card was declined. Never in my life have I ever been treated so badly by hotel management. Do not use them. I’ve read several reviews from this timeframe stating the same thing happened to them. Luckily, I found a room in Orange Beach but paid triple the price.
