    Another wonder stay
As usual the Aparthotel was an amazing stay. The staff are amazing. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The views of the bay and countryside were stunning, from our balcony. The sound of the birds from the bird nature reserve, opposite, was beautiful to wake up to. It was our third stay there, and not the last!!!

    Good 6.0
    Aneragely average.
Very good location. Had big pool and lots of sun loungers and bar/restaurant, but the hotel bar and restaurant looked closed for the season. Rooms had nice views of the sea at the front or the countryside at the back. Nice restaurants and a bistro nearby. Good public transport right outside the hotel to all parts of Malta. The hotel was clean and offered comfort and cleanliness.. We had to change rooms on our first night because of a small leak from the ceiling, but we were immediately given another room of similar standard. Breakfast was disappointing. A machine dispensed very weak apple or orange juice, and carried a request not to take too much! Similarly the hot water dispenser forbade more the 2 teabags. Hot “English”breakfast was offered on request, but only ready cooked (some time ago!) dried up scrambled egg and over cooked bacon was available. The cook said he couldn’t fry an egg. Reception staff were on duty 24/7 and did what was required, but were not particularly friendly. For a holiday on a budget, it did what it said on the can.

    Poor 2.0
It was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. The room was dark and so old. You could easily hear the voice of other people from other rooms and in the hall. The hairdryer in the room didn't work and you have to go to reception and ask for a hairdryer. In the third day, there was no shampoo in the room and I was told that usually they put Shampoo in the firs day and you have to buy yourself thereafter. The reception staff in the morning were not friendly. The only good thing was the breakfast. Generally NOT RECOMMENDED!!

    Very Pleasant Hotel.
A vert pleasant hotel in a good location, friendly staff, warm and well maintained/cleaned room, attractive dining area and bar, good indoor pool and fitness room with three machines all working, outdoor pool with countryside views. Hotel well placed for bus trips to Valletta and most of Malta and very pleasant coast and countryside walks to be had. Nearby main road often very busy but not too noisy.

    Lovely stay at Porto Azzurro
I booked last minute so was only able to get a room but ideally would have liked self catering. Overall the hotel itself was comfortable. The indoor pool could do with a deep clean but came in handy for teaching my son to swim. The best thing about this hotel were the staff on reception and in particular a lady called Rachel . My iPhone charger broke a day before I was due to leave and she especially bought her own one in from home so I could charge my phone rather than having to fork out 25 euros for a new one. I would definitely recommend this hotel for location as well as really close to bus stops so easy to get around the island without expensive car hires or tours. Also a handy convenience store, cafe and Chinese takeaway all within walking distance of hotel if you don’t want to eat at hotel every day .

    Great friendly staff
Lovely staff. Was given wrong type of room on late arrival but changed immediately I told reception next day and got a lovely big balcony. Hotel could do with a bit of renovation but it seems that is already in progress. Nice pool area. Quiet area which was OK for me and bus stop is nearby. Would have liked more restaurants and shops nearby though.
