Bay Gardens Beach Resort
Highly recommended
Very nice hotel, excellent location right on the beach, good food and excellent service provided throughout our stay, was made to feel very welcome including a free welcoming cocktail upon arrival, booked a pool view room and was upgraded to a beach view room free of charge that was totally unexpected, would definitely recommend for people to stay at this hotel.

Fantastic choice for a family trip
Bay Gardens exceeded our expectations. The facility is locally owned which gives it authenticity, but there were no compromises for our picky American tastes. We had a family of 5, including our 3 sons ages 17-25. Everyone loved the resort and St. Lucia in general. We got a 2 bedroom suite, which was recently nicely remodeled, very spacious and very functional. The beach was great, watersports easy to access and the staff was super helpful and friendly. They had low key but fun activities most evenings, plus two happy hours. The Splash waterpark wasn't quite as much as it looked like, but was still fun for an hour or so. We also had good snorkelling from the beach (go to the left edge of the water park and along the jetty rocks on the far right side of the beach). The shopping and restaurant are of Rodney Bay was about a 15 minute, easy, walk with a fair amount to do --upscale shopping and tons of bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. (we recoomend Royal Palm or Keebees for lunch, Pink Papaya for an upscale dinner and Matthews and Razmataz for dinners also). The on site restaurants and Spinnakers next door were also very good. The included breakfast was terriffic. Our room also had a completely useable kitchen where we cooked our own dinner one night with fish we caught (Exodus Charters) and some groceries we bought nearby. We would definitely go back to Bay Gardens!

Beautiful bay gardens
Our stay at bay gardens beach resort was fantastic. Staff was both very friendly and polite. Always smiling. Took care of all our needs. The meals at the hotel were also great. No need to go out for food. Fantastic buffet breakfast.

Very Good8.0
Expensive but worth it
Everything in Saint Lucia is very expensive: expect to pay a five star hotel price for what is, as in this case, a three and a half/four star hotel. Having said that, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel: pros: right on a great beach; plenty of options for meals at all range of costs within walking distance (no need to go for the "all inclusive" but would recommend to include breakfast which is great). The Ninja obstacle course across the beach is a god saviour if travelling with teenagers. Great pool. Great GM.. Cons: our unit, bathroom specifically, could use a refresh: old shower curtains, scratched furniture; broken tiles, etc. Volatile Wifi in the room. Depending of where room is located, it can be very noisy: we had a special "Caribbean" night one evening and it is like the DeeJay was in our room... Registration desk is slow and needs to be prompted for information; not pro active to share basic details.. Somewhat indifferent service at the towel hut and with some bartenders
