Birthday stay.
The room was nice and clean. It was the studio room. Only 1 light in the room and it was a fluorescent light, therefore it was really bright. We called the front desk for a few extra pillows and when they brought them up they just walked in. I was in the bathroom and my spouse was changing. The toilet would only flush off you took off the back and did it manually. Over all they area is beautiful and we continue to stay at the canyons just a different hotel.

This hotel is so confusing!!
I booked a queen room, one night stay. Only 1 desk person was working and no house keeper. I was very tired and just wanted to pass out and when I got in my room I was confused on where the bedroom was. There was a locked door which I thought must be the room. I called the front desk 3x and was placed on hold each time for 10 minutes before hanging up and trying again. I finally went down downstairs, which was THE most confusing hotel I've been in. No marked directions anywhere to find the front desk. Your supposed to go through the parking garage. As there was only one worker in the hotel he was extremely difficult to find as he was busy. He finally came to my room and tried unlocking the door and we finally figured out he had put me in a room with pull out bed. The only saving upside to this day was that I was upgraded to a King bedroom. This fiasco finally put me in bed at midnight when I had a triathlon the next morning and up at 4 am. Sleep is very important and this hotel made this very difficult.

Poor
No one was there! :(
I recently booked a room at the Silverado Lodge for my family and friends to use after a long race. We had been running all day and evening and couldn't wait to get to the hotel to rest and shower. We arrived after midnight, and to my dismay, the lobby doors were locked! I used the phone next to the front door to call the lobby, but no one answered. I called the number listed for the hotel - no answer! I called and called for the next 15 minutes, hoping that someone would pick up, but no luck. It was embarrassing and awful to have to tell my team that we had no place to stay... everyone was so disappointed. I checked the website and it shows "24 hour front desk" as one of the amenities for this hotel, so I didn't think our late arrival would be a problem. Make sure you confirm that this hotel is staffed and open before you reserve it!

Beautiful area - terrible beds!
I traveled all the way from Florida, and would have liked to give this hotel a better rating, but the sleeping arrangements for 2 of the 4 adults was totally unacceptable. We reserved a suite with condo amenities which was great, but the pull-out bed in the living room area was the worst ever encountered. The couple were totally unable to sleep on the worn out mattress which was like sleeping on rocks. They ended up sleeping on a couch and another smaller couch with ottoman. When we checked out the next morning, the hotel staff was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to even hear about it. They did not apologize and said we should have complained sooner . . . not sure what could have been done when you come home at 10:30pm and expect to retire on a decent bed. I am a third-party meeting planner and have stayed in numerous resorts/hotels all over the world . . . I would not recommend this hotel to any of my clients. Too bad . . . beautiful area.

Very good
Pretty surroundings. Comfy room.
It was a pretty place to stay. Beautiful rooms! Full kitchen with dishes, dish washer, oven, stove, fridge (plus another under counter fridge in our bedroom). Individual A/C units in each room. Great deck, 2 sofas, DVD player, two TVs, great bathrooms. The area was really nice. Enjoyed a hike, playing foosball under water mist sprayers outdoors. Private garage parking. The pool was pretty tiny and a bit crowded. The room WiFi wouldn't work and when they came down to inspect it he showed me his devices connected fine, so it was on our end. Had to ask for sheets for fold out sofa bed. Just minor stuff.
