Room cleanliness a real issue. Stains on bed cover, toilet roll not being replenished, socket stopped working, bathroom cleanliness very poor, shower heat regulator meant going from warm to cold to hot. Plastic spoon on tea tray, filthy. But comfortable and very attentive staff. Food good. Room service wasn't of a consistent standard. Good location.

I stayed here in a stop over for a flight from Cairo airport. Nice hotel, with large, comfortable, clean rooms and good facilities. The organisation of the place is a little....ramshackle. I was only staying 1 night but in the morning of checkout was woken early first by the room cleaners asking if I wanted the room cleaned then by someone asking me if I wanted my minibar restocked. Given that I was checking out that day this should not have happened. The guy who checked me in was pleasant enough but I had to ask about breakfast, WiFi and even where the room was - this is very basic info! All the other staff I dealt with were really friendly, helpful and went above and beyond though.
