Very good overall
Really good hotel with excellent helpful staff. Breakfasts could have been better and spa facilities were average. On the other hand, the room was great.

The hotel it self is beautiful but the service is terrible I don't want to go into to much detail except I won't be going back.

I good hotel with plenty of facilities but too far from the local resort area which meant taking taxis at 7euros each way every time we ventured out. Also, housekeeping was very poor e.g. not stocking bathroom amenities correctly, forgetting to put pillowcases on the pillows, not stocking the kitchen area correctly and more importantly, not getting around to servicing the room until after 5pm most days! Having said that, the front of house staff were very friendly and helpful and had obviously been trained by Sheraton to a high standard. It's a shame the same cannot be said for the housekeeping staff. Not likely to return to this particular hotel, but will definitely return to Cascais.

Great Hotel to Relax At
We had a fantastic visit to the very reasonably priced Sheraton. We had a ground-level room that opened up to a nice courtyard and was just a short 1 minute walk to the pool. The kids loved the pool! The room itself was very modern, clean and very large! We had a the family-suite and I woudl highly recommend this room. We loved it. My only complaints were that the hotel was a bit hard to find (google maps was inaccurate) and twice they forgot to put a crib in our room (we had to ask three times) and I hate hotels that charge for internet. It should be standard.

Great Vacation - definitely worth a return visit.
The hotel is a good 10 mins out of town. The shuttle operates 9-6. Book this in advance. Taxis' are frequent, single trip is c€7. The suite was of a good size, children slept on the sofa bed in the lounge area and we're happy. The kitchen is fully equipped, the nespresso machine capsules are commercial. The room service price for 2 is equivalent to a whole box. Try and source these before you go if you want to. We couldn't find a shop more local than Lidl for water and sundries. There are 2 supermarkets close to the train station. The pool is well maintained, plenty of fresh towels. This is shaded by trees therefore temp is usually cooler than town. Hotel spa is good you are required to purchase a swim cap €4.50 (this should be free, like most other hotels). The gym is 24x7 and is very good. In addition you can rents bikes from the hotel. I wouldn't recommend hiring a car unless you are going further a field. The train to and from Lisbon is great value and runs frequently. The food seemed reasonable and varied but we preferred to stay in town for the variety. The hotel is made up of guest rooms and some privately rented apartments. This didn't bother us and I didn't feel it interfered with guest provisions. The only gripe I have is that the wifi is only free in the lobby area and it's actually cheaper to pay the roaming charge daily than the hotel wifi however, our stay was very pleasant and relaxing so would definitely return.
