Perfect Location
Great location, water views and next to the Opera House. Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast on a rooftop location with amazing views. Walkable to most things Reykjavik has to offer.

Disappointed
Great location near old city, festival hall, and restaurants (3-4 blocks away. Friendly staff. Center is part of a chain so shop around. HOWEVER, these hotels are "Scandanavian" which means no comfortable furniture, no closet, no chest of drawers, no shower stall. We ended up piling our clothes on the floor. The bath featured a sprayer on the wall with no rim, just a drain. So, a shower flooded the bathroom and seeped into the living room. Shop around when looking for a hotel. We paid around $250/night for a room with no storage!

It was the best location. Bed, I ordered a king, got queen , ok. Shower was not good. Too small for that size of room. Water everywhere and limited To have a comfortable shower. I’m 6’3, could barely fit! Overall, staff great, location the best but bed and shower need upgraded.

Bring a fan!
It. Is. HOT. Bring your fans! It does cool off in the evening, but the rooms are very stuffy so be prepared. There are 5 designated parking spaces for hotel guests, but nearby lots and street parking is available. It’s not always free, but at least it’s there. Everything else was fantastic. Breakfast is top notch.
