Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio North/Stone Oak at Legacy

We have stayed in many hotels, but I think this was one of our favorites. Beautiful lobby area, comfortable fire pit area outside, nice rooms. We were able to visit with other family members staying at the same hotel, and it was very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Our teenage kids enjoyed the workout room, pool and hot tub. The staff members were all super friendly. Beautiful facility. Would highly recommend. The only downside, is no free breakfast or coffee in the mornings in the lobby /breakfast area, so when traveling with the family it gets a little costly. Otherwise, loved everything. Super comfortable bed linens towels, great shower. Rooms nicely decorated. Will definitely stay again.

Very disappointment in the staff. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 pm and although I understand that check in at the hotel is at 3:00 pm we requested early check in. The staff was not interested in helping us out at all. She made us wait until 3:04 pm to check in. I walked the hotel several times and saw them finish cleaning rooms that we could have checked into. We were in town for my sisters wedding and ended up being late due to the the check in time. I will not stay at another Courtyard again.

Nice hotel in a nice area, the only thing I would say is that house keeping left a note at our door that they could come back at ANY convenient time to clean. Well when I called to have them come back they were gone for the day... it was about 2pm. Which I can understand but why leave a card saying they can come back at any convenient time if they will be there only till 2. Need to change that card other than that we loved it.

We loved the hotel, but had a very hard time sleeping in the king bed. It was hard as a rock. My husband and I woke up hurting all over the first night and the next 2 nights of our stay weren’t much better. I have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed. To us, a high quality, comfortable bed is the #1 thing that we expect. We will have to try a different hotel on our next visit to our daughter.

The front desk person greeted me with a smile and positive attitude. However I did ask him for a crib but none was brought to the room. Next morning I was asking the counter person about how the breakfast purchased works. She explained rather quickly and seemed not to kind to my question. The breakfast not so tasty not worth the $12 per person... the lobby areas were spacious and comfortable. All in all it was alright.
