Clean but slack
The room and bathroom were very clean.When I checked in, I asked the valet what the hours of operation were and he told me it was 24 hours a day. There is a sign in the hotel that says the valet is there beginning at 7 AM which is why I asked. My reservation was for two nights and I added a third night when I got there- However, decided to check out and stay with a friend because there was a lot of noise from traffic outside and the HVAC system was loud whenever it came on and the mattress was uncomfortable. I called the desk clerk and canceled the third nights reservation and was informed that I did not have a third night reserved. Had I not called to cancel, I would have left for meetings and come back to find my stuff packed away, or whatever they do with remainders from guests. When I checked out it was early, around 6:30 AM, and the Starbucks in the basement does not open until seven. The valet was not there and when I inquired I was told they don’t come in until 7 o’clock. I told the desk clerk that the valet had told me they were there for 24 hours, but it is a third-party service that Sheraton has no control over and they apologized. They also said they could locate my car but I would have to get it. It was pouring rain and having already paid the $24 valet fee, I did not feel that was a solution. The desk clerk told me she was alerting the valet manager, who would call me. Still waiting on that call.
