Good hotel passably central
+ friendly staff at the reception --> easy check-in & check-out, got a map & tube plan for free + good room service --> handwritten “Welcome” message – very sweet, room was always clean and tidy, we immediately got a second blanket by request + friendly service staff in the breakfast room --> service staff always had a smile for us, even if he was very busy +/- hotel passably central, only accessible via District line (most often it is necessary to change lines, approx. 20 minutes travel into the city) - Nutella ran out of stock every (!) day --> many disappointed children - constantly something missing during breakfast time (jam, cereals, cups, cutlery,…)  Not the fault of the service staff (Maurice was running)! Management has to set in more staff! - staff should be trained how to clean the breakfast tables effective --> sometimes they just spray the disinfectant across the table while all the dirty dishes are still on the table Furthermore they often do not put the sugar etc. aside so that disinfectant is also sprayed on the packaging, which is absolutely not constitutional! Should be: 1. Tidy table, 2. Put sugar etc. aside, 3. Clean the table (and chairs if necessary), and disinfect! - terrible service in the breakfast room --> dirty dishes on many tables, not enough staff to clear it away! On the last day we had to clean the table by ourselves because neither the service staff nor the “manager” (?) took their time to help us! Unacceptable!!

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights while on a holiday in London. There are two train stations one is West Brompton and other one is West Kensington that were only 5-7 mins walk from this hotel and it felt very safe walking from tube to the hotel in the night with two kids and my wife. There are plenty restaurants and grocery stores between the tube and the hotel that on so many nights we picked up the food and drinks and ate in the room since we were tired from all the sight seeing. The hotel lobby is small but pretty relaxing and we ended up sitting there for a couple of hours every night with a drink . Staff is super friendly and breakfast has so many choices and a few healthy ones and better than breakfast in the US Holiday inns. Hard to find two double beds for a family of four in London hotels, we got one bed and one sofa bed. We could have taken the public transport from the airport but had so many suitcases but it's totally doable and if traveling alone or not with many bags then do the Tube. We took Uber but the driver got lost and took us somewhere not near the hotel, then realized that and took us to the right hotel. Ended up paying 60 pounds for that ride, not hotel's fault but do double check the address with Uber or taxi because apparently in London there are similar addresses unlike in the US. Overall, loved our stay in this hotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling with family or alone.

Very good 8.0
The hotel is in a good spot, with 3 Tube stops nearby and by a residential street. There are several food options nearby, and convenience and grocery stores within walking distance. The rooms were cozy, but at least it was clean. The staff were helpful and hard working. There were issues with the coffee machines a couple of days for breakfast, but a few of the guests made it seem like it was the end of the world (you can always get coffee outside, people!). The breakfast was repetitive, but at least it was something filling and you didn't have to go outside. Wifi was good, we had no issues using it. This is an Express hotel, so no additional amenities like a gym or swimming pool. But in London there is so much to do and see, we didn't have time for anything else. The bed was a bit narrow, even with a double, but we are used to a Queen sized bed at home. I wish there a dresser in the room (there were just hangers), or something to keep our suitcases off the floor. But overall it was a good value for the cost.

Recommended hotel for a stay in London!
The hotel was great and I even got an upgrade room by signing up with their club for several advantage like early check-in and late check-out! If you re familiar with the tube, the hotel is mostly closed to Baron’s Court station (Picadilly Line - Dark Blue line) and West Kensington (District Line - Green line), but both stations are in zone 2. To pay less, you can walk futher and rraxh Earl’s Court station which is on the Picadilly line and it’s at the beginning of the zone 1 tube. Tube was walkable and our return by tube to the airport was easy to so as well. Tip: if you decide to take the tube to go back to Heatrow Airport, allow yourself 1 hour! The room is small but it was clean! For 2 person, sleeping in seperate bed, we had a single bed, not double bed like we used to in America, but it’s perfectly fine! The toilet was clean and bigger than most of what I have seen before. Don’t forget that I’ve got and upgrade so it possible that if you book with them, you might have an another experience. This hotel includes breakfast and the cappucino was excellent for a great start to adventure and exploring in London!

Clean, comfortable hotel with a great staff
I had to make a last minute reservation in this hotel because the Hilton I had stayed in the night before was fully booked for the following night. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Holiday Inn Express was brighter and cleaner than the Hilton! The lobby was basic but very clean and with many seating areas and tables. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended a great restaurant for dinner that was only a minute walk away from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Again, surprised to say, that the room and bathroom were more comfortable and cleaner than the Hilton! Free hot breakfast including eggs and bacon! The breakfast area had lots of seating options including an area under a nice glass ceiling. The only downside for this hotel is that it's a long walk from the tube station (about 15 - 18min walk which was a lot with luggage) and it was a little hard to find (we turned the wrong way and walked about 15min in the wrong direction). However once we found it everything was great. There are buses very close to the hotel (3 - 5 min walk) so that made up for the long walk from the tube. I would definitely stay here again.
