We have stayed here a good few times and it has always been an enjoyable stay. The only minor problem this stay was only 1 lift was working which caused long waiting times to access the lift. I mainly used the stairs which was faster.

Hotels.com advertised free parking but when we got there no free parking in fact no parking available!! Staff were rude and said I needed to read conditions on booking which I still can’t find on the Hotels.com website Worst service I have ever experienced and by the way good luck at outing in a complaint to this outfit !!!

No communication possible!
I booked an extra night on top of a stay that was booked for us by the medical department. I tried numerous times to contact the hotel before my stay to see about matching the original booking to my hotels.com booking, but they did not answer emails of the phone. I would have provisionally booked the upgraded room on my own for the first 2 nights but didn’t want to risk a double booking. When I arrived there I was told I had the wrong email and that they have no access to the email I was trying. The email address I was trying was the one being advertised on their website, hotels.com and on posters outside the hotel, but I was told hotels.com are giving out the wrong email. I was also told that the room was booked out since May but I could still book it on hotels.com and on the hotel website. The room we were staying in the first 2 nights was of 2 star standard. No air conditioning, there wasn’t mattress protectors under the sheets I could see the mattress design. I am glad I booked the upgraded room for the extra night as my wife had surgery and was much more comfortable with air conditioning and a more comfortable bed. The first lady I dealt with on check in, didn’t apologise for not being able to be contacted and never offered a different upgrade. The rest of the staff were lovely and tried to get me in to the room as early as possible on the day I had to switch rooms. Only got breakfast on the last morning and was nice.
