Rooms are a bit tired looking but extremely comfortable and clean. We skipped breakfast but enjoyed the delicious $95pp 3 course evening meal. The hotel grounds are lovely. There's also a great Irish bar, Harrigans about 1km down the street. I can't wait to return.

Room was clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside our room Close to the Hunter valley gardens and Harrigans and a number of wineries. Pool area looked a great place to spend a Sunny afternoon. The main dining room was closed due to renovations and so dinner was in the breakfast room. The staffing was very poor in that the young lady attending to the dining room was also the bar tender. She was extremely busy and was doing her best to do both areas with a smile and grace. It is however unfair to expect someone to cover both those areas. The meals we had were very good, but to pay $48 for a chicken breast in a sauce was definitely on the steep side given the environment, staffing, and lack of finesse.

The hotel was great, rooms very large and very clean with plenty of free parking next to your room. Buffet breakfast was good but busy so sometimes a wait for the trays to be replenished. Room was very large and clean with a small terrace and packing outsude the room. The bed was large and confortable. The pool area was nice with some loungers around the pool as well as tables and chairs in the shade. The location was great to walk to a few different vibeyards and there was a small set of shops and coffee places. The gym was a bit disappointing wirh only fans and no a/c so it was a bit uncomfortable for excercising. I would recommend this hotel for a great location if you want to see the Hunter Valley and not drive everwhere

The rooms were spacious and practical, like all hotels it could do with more accessible power outlets near the bed, bathroom was clean, great shower. I’d suggest a door mat per room as I felt bad walking in with dirty shoes after the rain even after doing my best to clean them before entering. Staff were super friendly. Buffet breakfast was standard, nothing special, nothing wrong.
