Older property but comes with lots of charm. Falls and greenery were great, pools were well kept. I can see why some people find the falls loud (67db on our lanai) but we enjoyed it and it cancels out the noise of other people.
We had a one bedroom with full kitchen and didn't realize these are actually two adjoined suites: one main door (card only no deadbolt) that leads to a shared vestibule between the suites, which each have their own card and deadbolt (card is coded to open all three though). We found this strange at first, but as long as you use the doorstops to keep the interior doors open and keep track of your keycards it actually was quite nice as we had a lot of room and ended up with two full size bathrooms. This would be great for families. The kitchen was good, even had an ice maker in the fridge. Our unit was on a corner so two sides of the Lanai were open to the grounds which also meant two patio doors to access it adjacent to each other, the bay windows also opened up wide so lots of light, and fresh air. The A/C worked great as well.
All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they have some nice basic beach rental equipment which is handy. It's a bit of a noisy area for local traffic, the beach across the street was great, not busy at all. The cats were not a big deal, only three that weren't really interested in people and were barely around, despite my wife wanting to see them each day :)
Overall a perfectly fine stay for those on a budget.
