Very good 8.0
well organised
Disapointed when told gym and pool closed for renovation and they were very defensive and said it was stated on the website. However I didn't see it only when I checked my confirmation message after arriving did I see the message bear in mind I booked the hotel that same day. Credit to them they had a fall back plan and organised a taxi to take me to the Kingsmill hotel to use their facilities so all good in the end. Room was nice and comfortable though the old sash window was drafty, well it was snowing and very cold out side. All in all very nice

Great hotel by the river
This is a great hotel next to the river and convenient for the city of Inverness. I was in the recently refurbished ‘10 at the Palace’ annexe which meant it was split from the main hotel but in return I had a huge room with river view. Comfortable, and friendly service at breakfast.
Peter, gb5 night business trip
Fair 4.0
Poor poor communication
Was only informed the night before that there was no sports facilities available and on arrival told only continental breakfast available and no meals being served at night so had to go into town stayed here quite a few times but worst yet no real apology made room was old fashioned compared to the rooms I have stayed in past. The fact no on dining was provided is very poor.

It was generally lovely but the breakfast was not good and terribly view. We did find the room comfortable even though very noisy and we enjoyed the pool
