Very good 8.0
Great location, standard hotel
Location was good, close to the train station in and out of London. Not ideal if you want to grab a cocktail or go for a nice meal in the evening though. Very limited choices. Breakfast was standard but still a good selection. Kitchen staff should wear hair nets as a long hair was found in the fruit compote though. The room was basic and the bathroom swing door was damaged. However, we couldn’t hear other guests which was great. Building work was happening opposite and alarms were going off early on the weekend morning which was slightly disturbing but slept well overall. Due to booking a double room we were only left with two single beds because of late booking and the hotel being full. We did manage to get a discount on the parking for this, which was kind of reception to do this.

Double check room before you book
The hotel is opposite a building site so got woken up early by the noise. The TV remote worked intermittently. We had a standard room and i assumed it would be a double room as preferred which it also seemed to indicate on receipt, however we were given two single rooms as we were only staying one night. We were very disappointed as this was our wedding anniversary. The staff would not change the room. Also had to pay to park here which seemed a bit unfair. Shower was not very powerful. The only good thing was the hotel breakfast and the cleanliness of the room.

Was in London for Husbands birthday weekend Bit disappointed we didn’t get a double bed but was told it was very busy. Was given 2 Complimentary drinks as an Apology.

Terrible Management - Dated Rooms and Bad Service
Avoid at all costs. The hotel manager Omar is INCREDIBLY rude and lied to us upon check in about our reservation. He later admitted this but said 'it wasn't a big lie'. Not what you expect when staying at an IHG hotel. We were given an accessible room with a shower that wasn't adjustable, making it too short for us to use. (I called to ask to switch rooms to which I was told we couldn't. They could 'try' to find us a room tomorrow after check out at 11am, but it might not be possible. We had to leave at 11am so this was not useful in the slightest) The room also had a green light which was constantly on during the night meaning we couldn't sleep. Omar (Hotel Manager) thought this was amusing when I explained the next morning to complain and smirked whilst saying 'I won't be refunding you'. I contacted who also contacted the hotel and asked them to refund me to which he refused. Never known hotel management to be so unprofessional. In regard to the hotel facilities, the rooms were dated but in a good location. Our carpet was stained and the bathroom had hairs on the floor. WiFi connection is also very poor. Safe to say, we will not be returning and I would advise you to look for ANY other available option before staying here. Location is good, but that's all this place has going for it. Other members of staff (Ariana) were incredibly helpful, but if you have any issues good luck dealing with Omar...
