Bebyggelsen er holdt i meget god stand; haveanlegget likeså. Interiøret i hovedhuset harmonerte godt med stedets charme og stil. Rommene var utmerket; maten helt på topp og med en smilende og kompetent betjening. Anbdfales til dem som ønsker en estetisk og gourmetaktig opplevelse.

Vi hadde en rar opplevelse da vi ankom. Hun som tok i mot oss var lite vennlig og ikke hjelpsom. Vi bar tunge bagger uten at hun tilbød å hjelpe ( vi er godt over 70 år ). Vi tok sesongens meny som var svært velsmakende, men ørsmå porsjoner. Serveringspersonalet var hjelpsomme og flinke. Det var en strålende frokost. Vi forventet nok bedre med en så høy rompris.

An sich eine wunderbare Location! Toll gelegen und ein ganz besonderer Charme. Die Küche ist herausragend! Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit einigen Dingen: Unser Zimmer war extrem hellhörig. Jedes Rücken eines Stuhles und jeder Gang war leider zu hören und hat uns leider auch den Schlaf gestört. Etwas Befremdlich war auch, dass es keinen Schrank oder Kommode für die Sachen gibt. Das heißt, dass man sprichwörtlich aus dem Koffer lebt. Dann wurden wir aufgefordert in ein anderes Hotel zu ziehen, da man übersehen hat, dass eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft kommt und unser Zimmer wohl doppelt vergeben wurde. Das war eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Nach ein paar SMS und einem Gespräch mit der Hotelmanagerin wurde dies geklärt und wir blieben. Das Zimmer wurde einmal nicht gereinigt und nicht mit frischen Handtüchern bestückt und die Zimmerkarte wurde einen Tag zu früh deaktiviert. Deshalb gibt es von uns deutlichen Punktabzug für ein sonst tolles Hotel in einer typisch norwegischen schönen Umgebung.
