Comfortable and convenient
Very pleasant hotel and conveniently situated. Had a club room with a harbour view, which I thoroughly recommend. Only negative aspect was the breakfast which was rather uninspiring and the same everyday (6days).

Good price but you get what you pay for.
I don't really understand why Shangri la have attached that brand name to the Jen. The Jen is very much a budget brand hotel, similar to Ibis and Holiday Inn. They've tried to make it boutique in feel but you can't get away from tiny, noisy rooms (I seemed to be able to hear everyone's toilet flush from mine), a poor bar in the lobby area (the nice rooftop bar in the photos is just for the executive club customers) and a very limited room service menu. As long as your expecting that then it's a good hotel at a good price, but be clear that it's not a Shangri la and it's not a four star hotel. It's conveniently near to a metro station (well, an entrance to the station - it's still quite a hike to the station itself) but the area itself is pretty dead.
