Overall good, need attention to the smaller detail
Service was great, restaurants are good. The room was tiny and had several things that needed repair, from the artwork to the telephone to the lamp. There was a stain on the carpet that looked like it could have easily been steamed out. So it makes me thing no one is putting much effort into the condition of the rooms. I also despise the minibar concept that takes up the entire refrigerator and counter top space with drinks and snacks that if are lifted are charged to your room, never mind the fact that you have no where to put snacks and drinks that you may prefer. Seems low rent for a "luxury brand" hotel.

Room in our group was not cleaned during our stay. Everything had to be requested never restocked, Lotion water, etc. Expected more out of our stay

New Year’s Eve stay. Absurdly comfortable bed! Small room for the price charged, but very well appointed. Great location for downtown Portland activities.

Looking a bit worn dirty, worn and tired.
Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 pm and we arrived at 4:27. The valet was quick and extremely friendly. Got to the front desk (it’s in the 8th floor - check in paperwork should mention this!) and there was no one there. After 2 minutes of standing there, someone came to check us in. The lady was nice enough, but I could barely hear her. We reserved a atrium view club service room. She told me we had been “upgraded” to a street view club room. I asked her for the atrium room we originally booked, but there were none available. The room assigned was also not available because it was still being cleaned. We went to the club area to wait. After an hour wait, our room was ready. Had to make another trip to the front desk for keys (I have a broken foot) and found disgusting used glasses sitting outside our room. The counters were still sticky around the bar area and the entire room smelled of cheap perfume. Very disappointing. We were tired and just wanted to nap. Dirty glasses sat outside our room for at least 4 hours. Complained to the front desk and they apologized, but since we were there for only 1 night, they didn’t really care. Service members in club area were obviously overworked and shorthanded. Great location, but fixtures are looking a tad worn and the service was friendly, but lacking.

Dissapointed
I was a little dissapointed with our stay. Our room bordered the restuarant and we had loud music until it closed. Also was woken up several times in the middle of the night by neighboring rooms yelling or kids crying. Seemed to be coming from several different areas. Also several machines in the workout room were not working correctly. Enjoyed the location and room itself though.

Overpriced. Oversold.
Booked a room labeled "view"... The "view" was of the hotel restaurant. The "rainfaill shower" was just a normal showerhead. Description way over sells this property. Rooftop bar is nice but otherwise this place is pretty well overpriced. Also $50 for parking. There are much better options for staying in downtown Portland.

Great hotel to explore the city for a weekend
Great location within reasonable walking distance (~1 mile) of a lot of sites and a little longer walk (1.5 miles) to places like the Moda center. Great rooftop bar for happy hour drinks, nice rooms, quiet, cool lobby. Definitely a place to return to for a weekend getaway in Portland
