Good place
The absolute only drawback to this place is that there is no Airport shuttle. A taxi or Uber costs about $12 per direction. Don't try to walk. There are no real sidewalks. The place is spotless and there are some amenities that most Holiday Inn Express hotels don't have; there is an excellent restaurant open from 7:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. wide range of choices that were very nicely done. I can highly recommend this place for an Airport Hotel.

Isolation
We took a bus in from Gibraltar and got off at the airport. We read you could walk to the Holiday Inn but it was a complete nightmare. Do not, I repeat, do not attempt it. No sidewalks, no cross walks in a busy traffic circle, lost etc Even Google Maps was confounded! Finally got there but vowed not to walk back the next day. Staff is good and room is ok but walls are paper thin. Just did not seem to be up to Holiday Inn standards. Thankfully it seemed everyone had an early flight and things quieted down around 10 pm. The biggest complaint is that you are totally isolated without a car. Absolutely nothing around and no way to cross free ways to get anywhere. It was a long day for us before we flew out the next day. Restaurant was actually pretty good. The biggest rip off is having to pay 15 euro to take a taxi for less than 5 minutes to get to airport...it physically hurt to pay it....but you are trapped and have to pay. There is no shuttle. Since you have to take a taxi anyway, stay somewhere where you can get out and walk around and do something before your flight...especially if you are getting here early in the day...don't waste your day.

Adequate for one night
It’s difficult to travel anywhere from this hotel without a vehicle. The staff was great! The “restaurant” really wasn’t a restaurant. It was more of a catering service using the breakfast room at the hotel. The food was not very good and more expensive than what you would get elsewhere. The wine and beer selection at the little bar attached to the front desk was adequate. The room was quiet - for a hotel located that close to the airport. If you go during warm weather there is no air conditioning.
