Enjoyable stay
Our stay was enjoyable, comfortable and a good price. The only downside was having to climb 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast was of good quality and good price. Location was brilliant.

Exceptional 10.0
Basic but comfortable
Friendly staff very informative and helpful, didn't use the bar area but it looked nice. The rooms are very basic but comfortable, could use some water/tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms but surrounded by shops and cafés so not much if an issue for a short stay.

Good 6.0
Not too bad.
Basic accommodation and in need of some upgrading. However, the location was ideally situated for our needs and requirements. Staff were friendly and available throughout our two night stay. Our price included breakfast which was very good. The hotel has a bar and the prices were reasonable and a lot cheaper than elsewhere.

Come 2 Barry's 4 comfort, charm & a trip to 18thC.
Barry's Hotel, a bit of a local historical landmark in Dublin's north inner city, is the kind of guest house that they just don't build anymore. Full of eccentricity & an idiosyncratic charm that one associates with the late eighteenth century, there is even a close association with Barry's and the Irish Republican struggle for independence from the British Empire; but if you wish to find out the full gambit of this revolutionary relationship, you will simply have to book a room for yourself. No spoiler alerts here Sir/ Madam!

Great location for city centre north side . Basic hotel but decent.

Fair 4.0
Front door locked in hotel on evening time. Could do with a bit of a facelift . Also problems checking in as didn't have a photo I'd but had paid for the room in advance and had everything to prove that I did pay it

Excellent value, friendly staff!

Spend a bit extra on a proper hotel
Smell of sewage coming from en suite. Carpets looked like they've been there since the 1916 Easter rising. Filthy. Staff were friendly.
ie3 night family trip
Poor 2.0
Not thrilled.
No WiFi despite it being claimed in the listing, causing great problems for me as I required a secure connection for work, ally outings. No elevator. Overall condition of hotel in desperate need of renovation. Odd smell in the room. Bathroom was oddly arranged, inconvenient.
Barbara, ie5 night trip
Poor 2.0
Very very expensive dump
Expensive 224 euro for one night. It's only 2 and a half stars. The room and shower were really small - nowhere to put the case, had to put it on the bed. Breakfast not good either, rashers obviously cooked a lot earlier. How could this price be justified.
