We enjoyed our stay at this location. The staff was friendly and the accommodations met the high standards which Fairfield normally maintains.
Overall stay was excellent. Hotel was clean. Pool was cold and small. Breakfast was good.
This was a weird experience. I pulled into the parking lot around midnight on a Friday and there were two mini-vans with their lights on having some sort of meeting in the parking lot? It looked very sketchy. After 11 hours of driving I just wanted to go to sleep and not worry about my safety. The parking lot was packed and the hotel was pretty much silent which is good. The new employee at the front desk was very apologetic when she wasn't able to make the key card for my room and had to call her manager. She put me on the first floor and the King room was pretty bleak. I had stayed at another Fairfield in MO just last month and it was beautiful which is why I booked this one (this location also got great reviews which baffles me). There was an exterior building spotlight aimed at the window of my room and after about 10 minutes of pulling and twisting and pillow placement I was able to arrange the curtains so that they blacked out all the light. I don't know how to describe how I felt - the room didn't have visible dirt but it just didn't feel like the kind of place that I could unpack my belongings onto surfaces or walk around in socks without shoes. I even laid out a towel on the bathroom counter to put my toiletries down. This is the first time in my life that I laid a shower mat INSIDE the shower to stand on because the bottom of the tub was stained brown. If I had children I would not have felt comfortable staying here - especially during a pandemic.
I was in room 221. The lights didn’t work. Later to find out that some lightbulbs were missing or they were broken... Room had a musty smell. I will not come back here again. I was very disappointed.
Hotel and staff were good. It’s just the clientele who are rude. Playing tv loud and allowing doors to slam. Courtesy to others is gone in this world.
The hotel was grungy, spots on the sheets and pillows, bathroom floor you could tell wasn’t scrubbed. Bathroom towels felt like sandpaper And we’re small. They put us by the elevators so we asked to switch rooms, she moved us to a room with a king bed, told her we had booked 2 queens, so we switched rooms again. Then she charged us for the switch. Had to call and get fixed which the manager gladly took care of.
This hotel was clean comfortable and friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.
