OK in the end, after complaining.

We had booked here because it had EV charging points and a restaurant, and looked like a pleasant setting. We arrived to discover that the EV chargers were Tesla only, and the restaurant was closed. We'd just driven 400 miles, so were not pleased. After a lot of complaining and phone calls by the receptionist, it emerged that the chargers could be used with any EV (officially from October), and we were offered a rather simple (although expensive) meal in our room - a lentil and vegetable dahl with bread, which wasn't bad. The receptionist was very helpful and tried hard to sort all this out, but it took a long time and was stressful, and shouldn't have happened in the first place. The room was fine though, and the hotel was in a pleasant setting. Didn't bother with the breakfast!

Avoid! Cleaning lady entered room while we asleep!

Terrible stay. Room is very old (although bathroom was remodeled recently). Kettle and TV remote were broken. Worse thing that happened was to see the cleaning lady enter our room while we were sleeping. The door was locked from inside and the do not disturb placard was on the door handle. Not even saying sorry. Front desk barely apologized for the incident. Never seen anything like this. Trust the reviews and don't go there.

We were meeting friends in Brive and didn’t have a car. When we stayed we realised this is a hotel for people in transit as it is next to the motorway and 5km out of town. The staff were friendly, however the restaurant food was OK and our air conditioning kept switching off during the night which made the room warm and stuffy. It happened again the next night as well. It was finally working properly on the 3rd night. The hotel was set back from the road so it was relatively quiet.
