It’s a little outside of Lucerne, so be prepared to have a car specifically for this location. Transportation isn’t nearby or walkable and the Ubers are expensive! We are a family of 5 (with teens) and we stayed in the Holiday Inn Express for our stopover on the way to Italy. The hotel was super clean, modern and an easy location for the motorways. It did have food avail for lunch/dinner but we didn't have it so can't comment on the quality of it but did have the continental breakfast which was very good. We would have no hesitation rebooking.
