The Village Lodge
Mammoth lakes is beautiful with plenty of outdoor activities to do. Accommodation was good however could have done with being a bit bigger. Portable air con is useless and takes up too much floor space. Also too much noise from people outside at 2/3am in the morning on thursday/ Friday / Saturday on a 5 night stay which kept us up , you need to sort this out

Condo's in a Hotel setting
Nice to receive an upgrade to a one bed suite which enabled us to self cater. Staff all very good.

Nice complex
I booked this hotel room as a one night stop over whilst travelling between Las Vegas and San Francisco and it was more than adequate for this purpose. The room is more of a self catering apartment and has everything you could need to be self sufficient for a longer stay. It was set in a complex containing several shops and restaurants so you could please yourself either stop in and cook or go out and make the most of the amenities. The intended use of the complex is as a ski lodge during winter skiing activities and it looked to be perfectly placed and probably ideal for that purpose as the gondola up the mountain runs from the complex. Our one night stay really did not do it justice and you probably could have spent a couple of days exploring the surrounding area even without the snow.

Convenient for the vilage area
Comfortable bed. Large room with all facilities. Don't eat the snickers unless you want to pay over 6 dollars for it!!

Best location in Mammoth
The only downside was the noisy and not very efficient air con, and the lumpy unaffordable pull out bed. We had a one bed apartment with full kitchen which was great. Fabulous location.
