Good stay and service save for the lack of hot water in the cottage room. In fairness staff made another free room shower available for our use but it obviously dd cloud our stay.

Lovely food but poor communication
The hotel itself was good. Clean and comfortable rooms (if a little small). Excellent bathrooms and shower. The food in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. However, there was a wedding on (which we were not told about when we booked) and we felt very awkward having drinks in the bar and had to enter the place through the back door near the kitchen as the main area was out of use. This was quite disappointing, and it would have been better if we had been told! We also weren’t given any information about what time breakfast was, and as a result we missed it, in the morning which was disappointing especially as we had paid for it. So - lots of potential and would have been lovely. Just a bit disappointing overall.
