St. Benets Abbey - Guest house
Close to the Eden project,
Friendly service, and decent breakfast, but I have to mention both the slurry lorry coming just after breakfast on the day we left which brought an overpoweringly awful stench to the place and also the double bed in the family room which was anything but comfortable. A bar across the end of the bed means it is no good for anyone over 5' 10'' max!

Wonderful Place to Visit.
I love this place. I've stayed twice now and will certainly be returning whenever in the area. My trips are always on business so it's a great place to unwind after a working day as it's so quiet, don't be put of by the main road as you can't hear traffic and it's handy to get wherever you need to travel in the area. The owners, JJ and family are most welcoming and will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, he'll also reserved a table and make sure I was welcomed at the local village pub which has a great menu and atmosphere. It can be quite daunting travelling/staying/eating alone but I never feel on my own visiting here. Look forward to my next visit.

Great family run B&B
Great family run establishment. Very warm and friendly welcome and good local knowledge. Breakfast was great, all cooked to order and great quality.

Highly recommended.
I inspect under toilet rim, plugholes etc for cleanliness! A bit OCD. This BnB scored 5*+ on all cleanliness areas! Room brilliant, upgraded to superior double. Rebooked already for next month. Hosts really friendly and accommodating. Although on a main route into Bodmin, this BnB is set back off it, in its own grounds. You cross a small bridge, which has red reflectors visible at night. But we'll lit access to large car park. Old building but maintained well. Beautiful furniture. Lovely gardens. I recommend.
