Lovely ryokan experience
Great for an authentic Japanese experience. Very close to Kyoto station. If you want their evening meal you should request that by 6pm the night before

Kyoto Hotel Sanoya Inn
Clean, comfortable, old world charm
We were very pleased with the Ryokan style room. The comfortable futons were laid out by staff at 7:30 pm, there were various size robes and slippers available in room. The public bath was clean and tasteful. The Japanese traditional breakfast was delicious, and added an old world charm to our whole experience. The staff speaks very little English but enough to patiently make our needs known. It was located in walmi g distance to the train station which made it easy to get around. We would definately stay there again.
